Til Shiloh Come

As we delve into the realm of blockchain technology, a groundbreaking frontier teems with opportunities for the Ministry of Life (MoL) to innovate, evolve, and usher in a new era of connectivity and community building. One of the pillars of this innovation will be our envisaged digital utility token, Shiloh, designed to serve as the lifeblood of the Ministry of Life ecosystem.
We all know how money corrupts, and we are living through a time of extraordinary corruption in practically every area of our society. Decade after decade of well intentioned movements have gained steam and then had it released when their movement was hijacked by moneyed interests for their own selfish ends. Our mission at the Ministry of Life is of such vital importance to the future of our species that we must attempt a radically different approach to pursuing our mission, one that is immune to the corrosive effects of monetary gain for personal glorification-the Shiloh token, to be used solely on the Ministry of Life platform.
At the heart of our vision, we foresee Shiloh as more than just a digital asset – it will be a functional embodiment of an individual's participation within the Ministry of Life community-a symbol of one's willingness to become productive and which can bear the fruits of those labors. Like a proof of membership, an equity share, and a medium of exchange combined, Shiloh will intertwine the community’s interactions, contributions, and governance in an intricate, mutually beneficial economy of life.
The Shiloh token is pivotal to this vision. Comprising two components - Shiloh-A for direct utility in buying MoL goods and services, and Shiloh-B for rewards, DAO membership, and a stake in MoL's precious metals reserves - this token is more than a digital currency. It's a representation of one's engagement and contribution to the MoL community. Think of it as a blend of membership proof, equity, and exchange medium, integrating community interactions and governance in a symbiotic ecosystem.
Initial Build-Out Reward Structure:
Eber, our pilot farm where we will develop our token and smart contracts, will be targeted towards Texas veterans and initial partners of the 2 existing stewards, but Eber will only be the first property of the Ministry and there will be many more. When a new MoL (Ministry of Life) property is acquired, it signifies the beginning of an intensive 6 month construction and development phase. This period offers a unique opportunity for any enthusiast to actively engage in the shaping of the platform. Every participant can become an official member of the MoL, dedicating their skills, time, and labor and, in return they will receive the right to Shiloh-B tokens.
For every day of involvement, participants can earn up to three Shiloh-B (Voting) tokens. These tokens are allocated based on the intensity and duration of participation, with one token each awarded for morning, afternoon, and evening. However, during this foundational stage, token rewards exist conceptually, recorded as IOUs rather than tangible or digital tokens. This ensures that all contributions are acknowledged, even before the full development of the token infrastructure.
As the MoL property starts yielding products and services, they will be available for sale to the wider public through the Shiloh-A tokens, which are our platform's pure utility token. The responsibility of handling these transactions falls to the Shiloh Cooperative, a dedicated entity that manages all sales and financial interactions. Profits from sales outside of Shiloh-A token redemptions, once taxes are deducted and essential farm operations are funded, are directed towards the acquisition of gold and other valuable metals. These assets will be securely stored at the Texas Bullion Depository.
In a groundbreaking move, Texas will, with more public pressure, launch the first-ever gold-backed digital currency. This development has direct implications for the MoL community. Members can get debit cards, the value of which aligns with their Shiloh token holdings. These cards essentially provide members access to their share of the MoL property's accumulated wealth and our members will be enabled to barter their tokens for whatever currency, good or service they may require without the hassle of physical transfer of heavy metals. However, any intention to liquidate a significant portion of these holdings will be subject to approval by the MoL community, as it very well may require movement of the physical commodity. Major withdrawals will need the consensus of Shiloh voting token holders, ensuring collective decision-making.
Once developed, Shiloh is planned to leverage the Solana blockchain. Solana's unique architecture, which utilizes a Proof-of-History (PoH) consensus protocol, allowing for higher scalability, low cost and faster transactions than other blockchains. It provides an efficient, secure, and robust digital platform for our token to facilitate trade on our physical platform. The PoH protocol will enable our developers to create a token on the Solana Program Library (SPL) that is flexible and adaptable to the project's needs.
We aim to carefully calibrate our tokenomics, the economic framework that will govern Shiloh's issuance, distribution, and utility, to promote equitable participation, sustainability, and growth. Our vision is to weave together the principles of decentralized finance with the Shiloh Project's tenets: fostering community participation, enhancing collective decision-making, providing a route to land ownership to those incapable of traditional routes and creating a self-sustaining economy. As our Ministry grows and acquires new properties, those who contributed to Eber and earned their Shiloh tokens will, in the future, be able to use those tokens to stake their own claim on additional MoL properties.
However, it's crucial to remember that Eber, the Ministry of Life's inaugural project, will proceed regardless of Shiloh's successful development. Such a bold mission, with so many challenges, requires an operating environment to develop ideas, iterate various methods of governance and usage and provide a testing ground for hardware and software developers to explore the myriad ways that a digital token can be implemented in the material realm.
Shiloh, once brought to life, will embody our collective investment in our shared future, aligning our individual incentives with our communal goals. Our journey into blockchain technology, with the Ministry of Life as a beacon and a lifeboat, is about more than creating a digital token for use on our platform. It's about redefining the nature of community, interaction, and mutual growth, and embarking on a shared quest to transform our relationship with the world, God and one another.
